“I just went to this place about 2 weeks ago and I have to say I am absolutely blown away from top to bottom. So much so that I felt compelled to write a review about them which I never do. I had been shopping for a custom sectional for about a month and was actually going to lock in with one at a department store, then I saw an ad saying that Real Deal is SD's custom sectional leader. Curious, I had to at least check it out. Thankfully I did because I ended up getting the exact style for over $3000 less than I was quoted at the department store. “We shopped around a lot before buying a bed - funny, every mattress in San Diego is on sale! We kept trudging, and arrived at Real Deal Furniture. We saw the perfect bed and it was at a great price! We had seen similar models that weren't exactly what we were looking for, and they were hundreds of dollars more.

“I've been searching for a corner TV stand for a couple of months. Based on reviews, I decided to see what they had to offer. As I entered, I was shown what they had in stock-good selection-but then they enthusiastically sat down with me and we went through catalogs. Within 10 minutes I saw what I wanted and filled out a purchase order. I needed to know the dimensions of the interior, so they would call me when they knew-no obligation. “If you're military and need furniture, The Real Deal is the place to be! Actually, even if you're not in the military, it's still the place to be. Everyone is super nice, and my husband and I got an amazing deal on a living room set. John was the one who helped us (I think he goes by JD). I wouldn't say he was low pressure sales... He was NO pressure sales. He just wanted us to be happy with what we got.
We will definitely be back to get a bedroom set when we get our tax return. You won't find good quality furniture this cheap anywhere else. Girls, you can pick out the exact fabric and matching pillow fabric you want! Tons to choose from so you can match it perfectly with your room

“Real Deal is the real deal. We went there completely because of the reviews as we'd never heard of it.
They have kids furniture, living room furniture, bedroom furniture, and a lot more. From what I understand you can either shop from what they have in stock or order from catalogs. All at super prices. (For less than $1000, you could get a really nice couch. Try that at a big box furniture store.)
True to the reviews, the team at Real Deal were very friendly and helpful but not pushy in any way. I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air that was. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received.
While this didn't apply to me, I was pleased to see that they took special care of those serving in the military. That is awesome! We all know those men and women serve our country and don't make much money. I wish more business were like them.
We left 100% satisfied. We found a mattress set at a great price, it was in stock, we scheduled delivery to our schedule, and everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. The set was about half of retail price too! We may have been one of 25 transactions that day, but we were taken care of in a way that left us feeling like a million bucks. We were in and out in less than an hour.
They have a great place for the kids to hang out while mom and dad shop. Seriously, we were there for a while and the candy bowl, DVD, and kids area made it super easy for us to take our time without being asked 100 times when we were leaving. When was the last time you dragged your kids out of a furniture store? -- NEVER!
We're already planning to go back to pick up a couch. I'll be telling all my friends about the "Real Deal" in Kearney Mesa.”

“Whenever I purchase big ticket items, I always research the product thoroughly. Once I make a decision on a specific product, I then go out to bid. In this instance I was in the market for a new mattress. Based on my research, I decided on a Simmons Beautyrest Exceptionale. This is a very high-end mattress, the highest Beautyrest makes I believe. Also pretty expensive. There was no question that I needed to go out to bid. I then proceeded to call as many mattress companies as I could find within an hour's driving distance, and I asked each of them to quote me on this specific mattress.
